SAS tranny cross member ideas ??

Anyone got ideas for a custom transmission cross member for a SAS that I'm doing. Going with the Dana 30 out of an XJ and want to use a long arm conversion from Rusty's Offroad http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=RC-CA311-UV&Category_Code=ARMS

I have some ideas but have been looking on here for other concepts.

i used a 2x4 with four bolts holding it in. it does great, however i live in a wet climate so it does rot out but its not a big deal to change it out every four months. Can you say CHEAP?
