I havent started my swap yet but i would like to know how to keep my tie rods from hitting my leafs...Im planing on putting a d44 in a 1985 2x4 ranger the d44 is out of a jeep grand wagoneer. I'm going to flip the perches and add blocks. I dont know if the tie rods will be a problem or not but i'm trying to figure everything out before i start:icon_welder:.... 302 dana 44 and 9 inch should be a good combination:drool:

PLEASE, don't run lift blocks on a front axle, use the proper height springs.

The tie rod will either go over or under the leaf springs depending on how you set up the steering. Either useing histeer knuckles and arms or with no histeer knuckles and arms.

Heres is a good pic that showes a good histeer set up and a normal set up
