SAS Steering Box Questions

Theirs nothing wrong with the ranger steering box, the 98 and up rangers have rack and pinion steering. That's why when we do a solid axle conversion we have to adapt a steering box on.

True you got me there I didn't see it was for a 98.

I replaced my damaged 265's with a Continental 285/30/19 (rear) and behold!!! The Continental is 5mm larger in diameter. I did not know this until after installation--yes, my bad.
I had installed FD's spacers on all 4 corners. 15mm spacer up front (no issues), and 25mm spacer on the rear. with this combination, the rear cartires rub in sport or not. Bad deal.
I tried putting the 15mm on the rear, same result. they rub, but not as bad.
To make matters worse, I have found that the entire rear axle assembly is 1/2" off center.
Have a look here.
