hey guys im planning up my sas on my ranger and i had a few questions to ask.
im going to be running up front a fs dana44 from a 79 f-150 and 8" eb coils. geared to 4.56
on the rear im getting 6" lift 63" chevy springs with 6400 belltech shackles.
im keeping my rear 8.8 with my no-slip and 4.56 gearing and adding wheel adapters.
my first question is on the sas, expecially with a 4x4 conversion, how would i go about with making the transmission crossmember?? i was going to bolt the radius arm bracket to the hole from the tranny crossmember on the outside of the frame. does anyone have pictures of the crossmembers they have either made or installed? could i get a crossmember from another vehical that would work?
do i need a
secondly im looking for a decent amount of wheel travel so which shocks should i use? im not too sure.
do you really need a tracbar? would it be a good idea to upgrade steering box? if yes, to what?
i plan on keeping my 35s, maybe upgrading to swapmer 37s in the futher future
thanks,
cody
