what a good axle to get to install under my 83 ranger??? i would rather start with leaf spring setup but who know while doing it i might just do 4 link but im not realy sure what axle would be best right now i have a 8.8 in the rear and a full sizr dana 44 ttb out of a 89 bronce and advice would be great

What do you want to do with the truck? What type of power you got? size of tire?

Just do a HP D60, your gonna want one eventually anyways. And unless your doing a perrallel 4link you dont want one in the front w/o having full hydro steering.

Correct me if I'm mistaken but aren't forums for asking questions?? so rather than be a dick why not keep your smartass responces to yourself...

Not when you can search and see that the same "SAS Question" has been asked atleast 3 times a week in new threads for the last year. Take 10min to search, the answere is out there. It really gets old seeing the same questions over and over again.

Tbmitchell- most of the people on this sites aren't a-holes so don't leave. unless ur running 38in tires and a v-8 engine a dana 44 would be fine. but if you want a big truck then go d60. talk to wahlstrom1 , he is very helpfull

Sorry, i have been hanging around pirate to much lately. And im running a V6 with 37s and smoked an axle in my D44 on the second outting. I wasnt being to horibly hard on it either. If the chromos keep breaking im going to a 60.
