now would i be able to do leaf spring front setup with the f150 dana 44?

yes, but why? Coils will flex better, and ride nicer too....and the axles already setup for it, not to mention it damn near bolts up to our trucks....

are there any coils that can give me 12" of lift. cause i have 4 chevy leafs that i was planning on using but for the size tire i was going to use i wanted a full width axle

I'd say use a 7" EB coil (or bigger if you can find them) and lower your coil towers the extra 2"s. I have them and they gave me a solid 10"s of lift.

why do you need so much lift?

why do you need so much lift?

I rubbed with 33's and a 4" lift, so I figured a 6" would be good then. I then thought with 35's or 36's that if an 8" lift will clear them, then 10" would be good. I'm gonna cut fenders as well, and have no issues about lowering it back down later on if I can.

i was thinking about $500 for front and rear??

You'll spend that or maybe a lil less on rough diffs, then spend a whole lot more rebuilding them and getting them setup for your intended use.

For 48's? Yea. That or 2.5T Rocks....

48's... haha maybe sometime in my lifetime....

i going go go with the 74-77 f150 and the dana 44. that would have the 9 inch rear correct? the ford 9inch info in the tech area didnt specify it that well so i just wanted to check. just get both axles out of the same vehical, convenient.
