Ok, my mistake. 41" tires, not 48's.
In either case, the Dana 44 is sadly not up to the task. Anything over 38's is really pushing this axle beyond it's limits.

so where would i find a full width 9 inch rear?

77-79 Full size 1/2 ton fords (F100-F150, bronco)

is if my calculations are correct.... if i can find an 77 F150 i should be able to get the front dana 44 with the easily removable wedges and the rear ford 9 inch...
