Ok, I found someone who is willing to give me a Dana 30 and a 9" from an Early Bronco in exchange for some bodywork. He deals EB and CJ parts so gathering stuff will not be a problem. I need to know what will be needed to do this swap parts wise and how people are hooking up the steering.
Also I want to keep the truck to about 6" of final lift height when I'm done, so what springs will be needed and will it clear the differential?
Both axels have 4:10 gears and I don't do hardcore wheeling so the Dana 30 will be fine strength wise so don't bash it saying I need a Dana 44 because I can't afford that.
Any input would be great,
Ben
