hey i did a sas on my 91 explorer with hp Dana 44/9" it has the 4.0 5 speed manual tranny and when im wheelin and i kill it or the motor is bogging down it acts like it has no brakes and i was wondering if any one else had a problem like this and what yall did to fix it. and yes when i sas it i got new calibers and brakes all four corner and they are all bled. thanks steven

When the engine dies you lose engine vacuum, thus not having any power assist for the power brakes.

How are the brakes normally when its running?

Usually when swapping to fullsize running gear (it'll have bigger brakes) you will need to swap to a master cylinder from a fullsize truck to get enough pressure to have proper braking.
