i am in mid process of a sas on my 94 ranger, i went to the yard and got from the knuckles out on a 79 fullsize for the disc brake stuff and i was wondering what brake lines are the easiest to use, should i order the fullsize ford ones or the shoebox ones?? any help appreciated

I have ProComp extended brakelines for my ranger using fullsize caliper's with no issues. If you have 2 different brakelines left to right (left has a block on it) you'll have to mention it when you order them or else you'll get 2 identical lines and you'll be missing the block.

I bought a set from Foothills Off Road, an ebay store. The lines are 27 ish inches long. Ya get a passenger side and driver side for 80 bucks or so.

I don't know about the earlier rangers, but on my 2000, the master cylinder runs 3 hard lines, one to the rear, and two to the front. The lines from foothills use the same hard line fittings and are set up for a 3/8" banjo bolt. I'm not sure if that's what the Rangers ran to the caliper, but that's the size for my D44.

They have worked so far.
