have a 97 ext cab 4.0 with a superlift 5.5" lift and it appears the front end sags about 1 1/2". i was going to put a set of daystar 2" spacers under the coils but i was told there was no way i would be able to align it if i did so. i know the steering will be at more of an angle and i plan on buying superlift superunner steering soon. if i install the spacers will it be too much lift to align it? will i have to lower the back of my truck to level it? also about how much lift does a shackle lift give you? ive got double stacked blocks in the back and i cringe every time i look at it but i havent had any problems yet... thanks

do you have 5.5 drop brackets in the front? if you have the correct drop brackets to match the lift, i dont see why you couldnt re align after the spacers, or just get bigger springs.

yes it has the correct drop brackets that came with the kit, they had 2 sets of holes in them, im assuming they use the same brackets for the 4" kit as well as the 6"(or 5.5") kit?

yea but i think i seen everyone on here uses the 4" hole for some reason, i might be wrong but i know there is a few people doing that. do you have the 2 piece alignment bushings?

i bought 3 degree caster/camber bushings that go in the upper balljoint after i lifted it because the truck had horrible negative camber, they were one piece if i remember correctly. what would the reason be behind using the 4" hole in the bracket? wouldnt it be more angle on everything if you have a 6" spring?

Check the settled ride height of your suspension (link)

If it's down from where it should be (sounds like it), the coilspacers should help immensely. With 5.5" of lift though, the Superrunner steering kit isn't going to fully fix any steering issues though, you'll probably want to lower the centerlink bracket on it to improve the tierod angles if you go that route.
