Weird.

So how exactly do you get there? Public transportation or your parents? I've never heard of such a thing.

my mom drove me out, and i guess i gotta make quick friends with upperclassmen who have their cars here ha, i need to do walmart runs like immediatly

We weren't allowed vehicles as freshmen either. Its pretty common amongst the schools I applied to and that was fifteen years ago.

the longest ive been unable to drive my truck was for 5 days while down for repairs. that was a looooong 5 days.

now that i have a beater car to commute in, the truck stays parked for about a week at a time. theres nothing that makes a man appreciate a tall, 4x4, V6 truck with tight steering and suspension and well-balanced tires like driving a $600 ford escort for a week :D.

No freshman parking is really common around here too. My school doesn't have it. I got to park on campus freshman year, but I'm a commuter. It's only the freshmen who are living in a dorm who are not allowed to have a car. As far as I know, the only schools that do allow it around here are the state universities.

I just went trough a similar experience. I was away from my ranger 3 1/2 months
i just got home gave it a tune up and babied it so much i missed it so bad.

im driving it to austin today in a couple hours since im in the middle of a move.
I should attend the Ranger Meet on the 8th somewhere near college station so im excited to have it back. eek im starting school tomorrow.

What the hell kind of school is that?

My daughter went to pitt, they weren't allowed cars there either until their Junior year. I guess maybe really small schools might let you drive as a Freshman or Sophomore. I would think Trade schools would let you drive also, since they tend to be smaller.

Jeez, I'm glad I didn't go to one of those schools. And I thought it sucked having to park a half mile from the dorms.

well Washington State University aka "wsu", allows fresman to drive, i know that cause of my friend that just drove all 6 hours from here to there, but im not that smart to atten one of those

i mean come on, look at that truck in the pictures, wouldnt you miss it too?? i found out tho that i can park it on the streets, but i'd have to move it once a week to a different street for the street sweepie, but the neighborhoods around here are pretty scary, so i might be a tad sketchy to leave it there haha, but whatever i'd use it every day

What school?

And are you running slicks in those pictures?
