Sad realisation

I've seen Quebec vehicles... there's nothing left of them in ten years. I think he'd be hard pressed to find anything in good shape...

What about a fibergalss body? I know a guy down hee in Kentucky that put a Eraly Bronco tub on a 87-88 BII chassis and if fits. The BII and EB have close enough to the same wheel base that the wheelwells lined up. Looks kind of odd seeing an EB with TTB upfront, though. He did at least switch out for the D35 from an "X".

A fiberglass body will help against salt . but honestly. thats not going to save your vehicle.

Frame, cross members, gas lines, brake lines, shocks, shock mounts, springs pretty much EVERYTHING else in the truck thats way more important is still subjected to that salt.

the best thing you can do is OIL spray it yearly. See a rust spot? get on top of it early.
