So i just got my ranger i plan to drop a 203 in it and want to beef up the rear end i want to drop in an explorer axle in it but i was wondering will i not need to cut and wheld the axle if i set it up in an axle over spring set up im going for a street truck lowered look also my model or ranger already has a sway bar will it fit the explorer axle

The explorer axle will bolt up to the ranger. The center pin on the leaf springs will need to be flipped (or use the explorer springs) and you will need to weld on shock tabs...

If you swap an Explorer axle onto a Ranger setup, the Explorer axle will be on top of the springs. This will give a pretty substantial about of drop, but it can be lessened by using the Explorer springs or a longer spring shackle if that is too much. But will otherwise bolt right in with the pin flip as mentioned if you're sticking with the Ranger springs. And yes, shock tabs need welded, again, as mentioned.

No idea about the sway bar, might want to grab the Explorer's too if you want to run one. Maybe some combination may fit.
