rvt gasket maker

finally doing the valve job on the old ranger an i really don't want to use the crappy paper gaskets on the intake or the plenum. can a tube of silicon free gasket maker work or should i just stick to the paper?

I used felpro rubber on my old '86 ranger I had. Sold the truck to my brother.He hasn't said anything about them leaking. Been 6 months or so.
Picked them up at O'reillys. I don't remember how much they were but it wasn't too much.

dont just RTV it, you will probally have a vaccuum or oil leak. Id buy a felpro gasket as stated above.

sweet thanks guys. i bought the gasket kit yesterday and put it all back together last night. the old girl runs great
