Running Rough

My 1999 ran perfectly fine this morning but when I went to leave school and I started it up, it has been running extremely rough and the check engine light is on. I know this isn't a lot of information, but it just running really rough listening to it run, and when sitting in the driver seat you can feel it. What could it be? I checked all hoses and they're all connected. Thanks guys

hmm off the top of my head it sounds like a sensor went bad, but you should pull the codes just to double check.
