My credo
If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
So this morning I woke up with 20 min to get to work, the drive takes me 24 minutes. I got dressed in 5 min and got to work 11 min later.

In my minivan. I pulled out to pass a 3000gt that was going 40 and I was going 80.... he sped up and I had to get to 120 to pass him. Just as I was moving back over a car was coming at me in the oncoming lane, turned out to be a Washington State Trooper..... I was all like if he has me at 120 then he might as well have me at 140 so I buried my foot in and found my top speed, he didn’t even turn around to chase me. My Kia Sedona is governed at 127..... I was passing everything in sight at 02:30 in the morning.........

Then my alarm went off and I woke up.....

So if this was just a dream then why was I still driving my crappy Kia Sedona?:icon_confused:

I dreamed last night a pickup was trying to race me in my old Eclipse...

He never got around me though, must have been someone else.

It is governed at a 127 though.... and it cruises really nice around 100. Has big monster sway bars on it too, hugs the road pretty well.

This just makes me want to find the limiter on my Forte. Fastest I've found is 115. Still pulling good, but have to slow down for a bend in the road. Still toying with the idea of throwing a turbo on it some time after the 100K mile mark. I'd probably be better off playing with the 5.0L swap Ranger and keeping my daily, a mostly stock daily.

I've had some weird dreams like that too. So unbelievable, but could swear that they are real even though I know they can't be. Even after waking up still wander which is reality. Probably because the dream was so much more fun that the job I'm about to head to.

Also BDAB, in your profile on the side. Under vehicle model is that F-15 or F-150? Guessing the latter, but one never knows who is on the other side of the computer screen.

Now that was Funny.

Fastest I did a 72mile ride home was 59 minutes about 3am. It was that ride that I noticed the car was going 88MPH @ 3K RPM. Also that I could get 70 MPH out of 2 before the limiter shut off the fuel pump. Most of the 200K Miles I put on that car was crawling in and out of Boston. Average time for a 30 mile trip was 1hr and 20 minutes. Early one Sat AM, I went 95 around Neponset Cir. There wasn't a car on the road and my average week day speed through it was 5 MPH. I used to have a re-curring dream about driving a '49 Ford from the back seat. :D
