II have a 96 ranger, 2.3 in which I just replaced the front brakes. Cleaned and repacked the inner bearing. Replaced the outer. New rotors, calipers and pads. When assembling, we had some trouble getting the pads in on the drive side. The pad near the piston wasn't fully straight. Hoped it would fix itself when testing brake pedal. Now when I veer to the left even the slightest bit, there's a pulsating grinding sound. No shimmy feeling, just the way it sounds. When I apply the brakes, it stops, straighten out it stops. Could this be the pad still not seated properly?
