Hey guys. I'm gonna jump right to it. My alternator belt is rubbing against my water pump pulley and I need some suggestions. My setup is an 85 2.3, esslinger underdrive pulleys for the water pump and crank with an 84 (i think) mustang alt in stock ranger location.

Thanks for any input.

Can't tell on the alignment for either belt.

But you could pull the water pump pulley and put washers/spacers behind it, enough to clear other belt, the 4 bolts are long enough.

I think the alt is the one that's off a little bit. I'm gonna try to put some washers on the water pump pulley and if that doesn't quite clear it I might pick up some kind of lathe bit and see if I can shave down the pulley a little.
