i was trying to figure out where i can find these floors mats (see pictures). what vehicles do they come out of? was it only a certain trim package on later years? do these actually fit the floor pans in the pre 92 trucks or was this guy just cramming them in there? does anyone have a part #? i really like them and am about to get new carpet, would like a pair for myself. this is a picture of an extended cab, i have a regular cab.

The ones in the right picture are factory or a dealer-installed option. After 30 years, I doubt new replacements are still available, but you never know.

Believe it or not, the universal rubber floor mats sold in many auto-parts stores can work and look good if they are trimmed properly. Many have grooves molded in the back to make them easier to trim to fit. The key is to get a large mat and trim it.

You could also look at WeatherTech to see if custom-fit mats are still available. Got a set for my 2011 and they look great.

My personal opinion is that carpet does not work well in pickups, especially on the driver's side. Keeping it clean is a hassle. Vinyl or rubber is far better.

Interesting that you say they are only for 83-97 Rangers as we have a set in my 99 and my daughters 07 B4000 and they fit perfect.

When I find them in salvage lot, I grab them.

I'd suggest some Weathertech or Husky floor liners instead. They fit better and protect the carpet better.

If anyone has a pair of those OEM Ranger mats in good shape and in blue, PM me if you want to part with them ;)

There are better options out there but they would look pretty cool in my restomod stepside truck.

they dont make them for 1990 floor profile

I have two pairs on tan NOS floormat that I will sell. They are very hard to find NOS.

Do you have a pin on your floor driver side that goes through the hole in the mat? I don't. The reason for those holes is to prevent the mat moving forward which they tend to do from getting in/out and then they can catch on the pedal (especially the high-rib ones) resulting in WOT condition which, yes, you can quickly fix, but, it can be pretty disconcerting.

I think only the 2011 models have the floor pins. You can use a mat set up for pins in a vehicle that doesn't have them.

The custom-fit WeatherTech mats I bought last year for my 2011 had the holes and clips on both front mats, even though only the driver's side has the pins.
