hi i got an 01 ranger just bought it is all stock ?? has 3.0 5 speed auto 373 gears ?? stock size tires 2wd the rpm seems hi to me
what rpm are you guys getting on hiway in od

Stock tires for 2WD should be 225/70 x 15 which has a 27.4" diameter

In OD(5th) ratio .75
3.73 axle
At 65mph
RPMs would be 2,230

In 4th ratio 1.00
At 65mph
RPMs would be 2,970

Check that the tire size is correct
