Hello, I am new to this web site and hope someone can help me. I have a 1998 Ford Ranger with a 2.5 4 cylinder, and manual transmission. Had it in the garage for a week, and when I started it runs rough for a minute and a half then idles fine. When I accelerate can not seem to get any higher rpm's out of it. I can only go down the street at 5 miles an hour if that. I put a new fuel filter in, but only the same result. Never had any problems with it until now. Hopefully someone can help. Hate to bring it in to the dealer and spend $500.00 I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
