Hey all, got my ranger about a month ago. It's 4x4 4.0 ex cab. Has a feeling kit and 31s. It's got 200k miles. It seems to idle a little rough. I am thinking it needs a full the up. Plugs, wires, coil pack, fuel filter, clean MAF. Anything else I should hit?
I have been averging 14.6 mpg with 85% highway. Seems a littler lower than I thought.
What should I expect?

I would do a normal tune up with Plugs, Wires, Fuel Filter, Air Filter.

There is really no need to spend the money just yet on a coil pack if you are not getting any codes from it. Wait until you do all the other stuff and see.

The main thing that will help your MPG is doing the above and also replacing all of your O2 sensors. What year is the truck. You will either have 2 or 4 depending on the year. They can be a bit expensive if you need to replace 4 but I would do that way before a coil pack.

I have only 1 on my 94 2.3L so it's not that big a deal but have seen an increase from 16MPG city to almost 20MPG city after doing the O2 change.

Mines a 2000 4.0. I never even though about doing the o2 sensors. Thanks!
