ok I bought a 88 ranger short bed regular cab about a month ago
it ran like crap
needed a new gas tank and fuel pump

I searched this site and the ford truck enthusiast site for suggestions.

lots of good info on both sites

one thing I never came across was replace the FUEL INJECTORS

I just changed my injectors with some I got out of a 98 and the thing runs like brand new
I paid $20 for used injectors at the local pick and pull, I got 8 of them for $20

I'm just posting this because I've seen a lot of posts about rough idle and hesitation and low power.
the usual answers of, clean the AIC and throttle body did help butt still wasn't right

I hope this info helps

thanks for the great site, it's a wonderfull resourse
