Rough idle and intermittent stalling/ incomplete stall?

Yes i have checked it, its all flat, there was a metal reinforcement in that spot on the head gasket
Yeah, if it were leaking between the cylinders it wouldn't be clean either, it just looks odd.

Have we fully ruled out vacuum leaks?

Probably unrelated, but is it just me or are those exhaust valves pretty deep in their seats?

We've got possible fuel burn issues here with the codes, I'm just sitting here thinking about what's going on and waiting for one of the gurus to jump in. 😄

I saw that, wasnt too happy because these are brand new heads, just got a valve job, it seems to hold when i sprayed wd 40 in that valve

I'm on my phone but on second look, actually the intake valves look a little recessed too. Not sure whether the 3.0 valvetrain has enough tolerance to make up for that, I'll defer to the experts on that but it seems like if it were bad enough it might explain rough running. Any valvetrain noise? I'm guessing not.

Edit: if they're sealing, they're sealing
