Rough Country

I got myself a rough country lift its a goo lift for the money. some of the brackets mey take a little modifys but it good just member gor the drop plate the lowers the passsenger side will have to be sheved or you will end up with a hole in your front diff but if you do that than you'll be fine

I hope that helps, and is what you are looking for. Just give me a shout if you'd like any more photos.

Looks good dude. Think you can get one with somebody standing next to it just so I can get an idea of height?

My Ranger, on the 4" Rough Country lift, a 2" body lift, and 33 BFG MT's. The lift kit was flawless to install; I didn't have to change or modify anything in it.

The only problem I had was that the 5.0 was quite a bit heavier than the stock 3.0 obviously, so the front of the pickup was riding low. Assist bags in the front coils fixed the problem. I did have rubbing before I put the lift bags in - it would rub on the back of each fenderwell when you hit small bumps with the wheels about halfway between center and lock.

Ride... well, it's about as bad as most lifted setups like this. It definitely makes the ride alot stiffer than stock, but I definitely wouldn't go back to stock. I love how my pickup came out.

[EDIT] - sorry, I have no pic's with people in them that I can think of...

Did you get yours with the blocks on the rear or new leafs? Im getting new leafs with mine.

I just went with blocks. Both experiences I've had with the Add-a-leaf's have turned out ugly, in the sense that it made the truck ride really, really bad. Not sure on the Ranger though, but I'm really pleased with how it rides right now.

I think I agree??? I've got the RC 4" on my truck with 32s and I like it. Mine actually doesn't ride too bad. I also do not have any sway bars on the truck and lifted the rear with belltec 6400 chebby lowering shackles. It flexes out like a mofo.

unfortunately I've already punched a hole in my front diff. I was "getting around to" clearancing the bracket. no biggie for me because I was going to and already have a replacement diff. :derisive: btw I absolutely wheel the hell the hell out of my truck. they call me the "U boat captain" and that truck sees air time like a 747 :icon_hornsup: Its also my DD, but I'm a tech and have the resources to do tranny swaps often :buttkick:

anyways good luck man. if you need anything I can help ya with let me know.

Im a Rough Country dealer. Let me know exactly what you want (shocks, boots, steering stabilizer) your zip code and I'll see what kind of price I can get you.

Just out of curiousity, What would it cost me for a 4" lift with blocks in the back for an 88 ranger? Im looking to get one for christmas. And my zip code is 98290.

Got the pm mav but right now im gonna have to put that on hold. Probly end of january I would be willing to dump the cash but right now isnt the best time. Credit card to pay off, gifts for the family, ect. You know how that goes around this time of year. If you can still get a good price like you mentioned maybe end of january then id be looking to buy. Right now I was just checking out feedback and other options to see what I want to spend my money on lol. Il let you know
