Roof Rack

Has anyone made one for their truck? Ive seen a few chase rack types but ive been thinking about an actual roof rack. after seeing this,

wouldnt be that hard, you mainly need to focus on how youre going to mount it and how much space you need in the basket and the rest is just up to the imagination.

i've been thinking of something like that, modifying one of those hitch mounted carriers. just get the 2" coupler off it and bolt or weld some mounting brackets on it. i really like the aluminum ones for the project, and they're pretty cheap at Harbor Freight. just a thought.
