I have noticed a rumble/vibration when driving the B2. It seems to get worse if I get on the throttle.

Seems most noticeable when in any gear above 1st. Gets worse with speed, and then fall off about 65mph.

I've hit some big potholes lately and think I may need a rotation and balance.

What else should I look for?

I know you did u-joints a couple weeks ago, I would sneek a peek at those again just to be sure. Besides that the balance and rotation is probably the best. I need to get it done too. Granted I also have a kattywompous rear driveshaft.

i had same thing. turned to be center u joint froze and ruined yoke. i know it says you just did joints but make sure the yoke did not get damaged. mine wore through

i bought a b2 off a guy from TRS and he had just did ujoints and it did exactly what your saying.. he had the driveshaft in backwards

Well I know the driveshaft is in correctly. I plan to look at the u-joint I replaced but right now there is snow up past the doors, so I hope I don't blow one out when driving. It happens with the front hubs locked and unlocked, but is worse with them locked in.

It is baffeling me. If I have the hubs unlocked, put the truck in 4WD and take it back out the problem goes away. Makes me think maybe one of the hubs is sticking and I have a bad ujoint up there.

I dunno

my ujoint did not break, it just froze off kilter. when i droped the back drive line i put in 4wd and took it around the block to verify that was only problem. maybe do that too. i just got the truck so there are many bugs i need to work out. good luck

Haha..

Well, I found the problem. Got on the freeway to head home and in the SAME EXACT location as last time the vibration got horrible. I pulled off into the same gas station as last time to find a U-joint cap missing. The same joint I just put in.

Thank goodness I had a 12pt wrench in the truck and took th shaft out and drove the rest of the 15 miles on the freeway in 4WD.

I think I need a new driveshaft or custom one or something.

This is getting old.
