hi guys i need some help/. when my 1997 ranger is cold it runs great. when it warms up the idle starts to roll. stop at a stop sign and the ilde rolls from 1000rpm to nearly stalling.some times it stalls. so you start driving with 2 feet.if when you stop at stop sign and throw it into neutrel ,the ilde rolls but it satys running.but t he whole truck shakes HELP

I am having a similar problem with a 1994 4.0 in my 88 Bronco II but mine does it off and on and when both cold and warm. You may want to clean your MAF sensor and also the IAC located off the intake. However, I cleaned both of mine with no change but have not checked to see if the IAC could possibly be bad. A quick start would be taking them off to clean them.
