From the Summit Racing webpage you provided: "These non-adjustable, pedestal mount roller rockers are designed to replace the factory-style rocker system, without machine work."
Why do you assume they will not work?
 
I do not see how you could use these roller rocker arms on a 4.0 OHV v-6 as it uses Shaft mounted rockers with only three pedestals on each head to mount the rocker shafts which holds the rockers .Now you might be able to use them on the SOHC 4.0 that was used from 2001 on but I'am not really familar with that particular engine set up,you could use these rollar rockers on the 3.0 v-6 for sure though as that engine uses individual stud mounted rockers from the factory.
 
yes, i'm guessing one would still have to fab a bar mount or something similar. i thought some one had done this years ago, but i can't find details on it.
has anyone actually used the morana rocker setup?

I've been suspicious of the morena setup is they don't explain how the system is lubricated.

The factory setup feeds oil through one of the pedestals and inside the rocker shaft
and it is fed through squirt holes to lubricate the shaft mounted rockers and the rocker tips


Needle tip rockers on a SBC are fed through the hollow pushrods from the lifters
which supply a constant trickle of oil to the needle bearings

The NExt point is WHY does anyone think a 4.0-OHV NEEDS Roller bearing rockers?

Why replace oil floated shaft rockers with roller bearing rockers?

I can see a point to replacing small block V8 rockers (Either Ford or Chevy)
that are mounted via "Ball-studs" (This system always struck me as Dumbass expressed in metal)


But did you ever see needle bearing rockers on a Small Block Chrysler? No, you didn't
because they were POINTLESS...
The 4.0 Ford uses an identical Rocker system

And nobody has ever proved that there was a valid point to the bearing tip on a Rocker
(Except on a "Small block Ford Inliiiiiiiiiie six (170/200/250), because these tend to
grind up the tips of the valve stem because of faulty geometry and For-shit materials
and/or heat treating.

My thought on Needle bearing rockers? If someone gave me a set I'd sell them.

If someone gave me a set of shaft mounted rockers with bearing tips I'd install them

If someone wanted to sell me a set I'd save the money for taking a lady I know shopping for
"Gift wrapping" (I.E. clothes that gift wrap her body for our mutual amusement)
