i want to start working on aroll cage, but have a POS harbor freight tube bender that leaves dent in the tube and is just not workin for me.. any suggestions on a affordable tube bender and notcher. already have the welder

Yeah, you'll need an actual tubing bender to go with the tubing you'll be using on a rollcage. Do not use pipe for a rollcage.

A good bender is the Model 3 from JD2. Located HERE

They're not cheap though. To get a bender an a die set or two is gonna run around $800-900 depending on what die set you get. Die sets add up quickly.

I think the Harbor Freight models are targeted to bend electircal conduit, which is much easier to bend what you need. DOM tube is pricey but your best bet.

You can try filling the tube with sand before you bend it,it will help a lot,Jim
