ok i was thinking since i was screwed over by some bastarded who "wanted" to buy my old soft tonnaux cover i was gonna try to modify it so my roll bar can stay on while it is on mainly by cutting and reinforceing holes that the bar could fit through and was wondering if anyone has ever done this or has any ideas?

or if anyone would like to by it for around $100 atm i could really use the money

its a button up soft one so id still be able to roll it upto the down bars which dont go out all that far =)

I dunno, but if you figure it out, let me know. I'd really like to be able to run a bar and my cover.

ok so i got home today and started cutting some plywood to fill the idea i got on my 20 minute ride home from work this is gonna be clamped to the side rails from the cab to the edge its only 2' and from there to the tailgate ill just shorten my cover so i will still have the ability to open about 4' of my bed if i need to haul some tall stuff

i used angle iron from an old bed frame i had to make the supports just gotta figure out how to clamp it to the bed rails

gonna cover it with something waterproof and get some type of boot deal to seal up around the bars

hopefully i can come into some diamond plate to make it out of at a later date
what do u guys think?

i do like that roal bar. my dad took took the crome one out because it took up too mutch space. but that was 10 years ago and my trucks a 91'. so there isnt any other mods that you have to do to get a f150 bar in a ranger other than cutting it?

not with mine of course it does stick out alittle around the cab but i like how it looks

i finally got around to working on it again so i figured i post some pics up real quick

got the support bar for the front of the bed tacked completely togeather just gotta get it all water proofed and fully secured togeather

cut the frame down on the soft cover so its pretty much ready to go once i get the front done
