i have a kawasaki vulcan--cruiser. he just bought a suzuki gsx-r 600 crotch rocket. it was being stored at my house and he wanted it at his house, so he told me to ride it over.....HOLY CRAP!!!!! the only phrase that comes to mind is "retardedly fast". there is a little stretch of road about 5 miles long that is flat and straight, i will usually punch the cruiser to like 70 there. twisted down on the gixxer, and the speedo said "55-59-64-69-75-82-89-100-111" digital speedo, those are the only numbers it showed, and they went by about as fast as you were reading them!!! i will stick to the vulcan, thanx.

oh yeah those things scare the crap out of me. I really would love to have one to just ride. I like them alot. But I know the second I get on one, even with the plans to not do anything stupid, I'd end up killing myself knowing me hahaha

oh ya thats fast i took my cousins gixxer before for just a quick ride he is 5'6 120 wet and i am 6'1 240 and i would crack the throttle and it would just pull the front tire every gear i went about 3miles and said no more to much power for me i will stick to 4 wheels that sometimes see 2 on the ground

thats not bad man, i have an 84' 750 honda shadow vtwin 4cyl. i have a straight road about 6 miles long in front of my house i've had my bike's speedo maxed out at 125 and it still had plenty of power left to continue accelerating :3gears:

You know, if you are going fast on a crotch rocket and looking down at the speedo, you just aren't ready to ride one. That is strictly a heads-up scenario. They are wicked fun though, aren't they! Most of the hyperbikes out there now would have been front line contenders in GP races a few years back. They are just frighteningly fast!! :headbang:

On the opposite end. My mother just bought a Yamaha Virago. I got to drive it home for her. Usually I drive a Kawasaki KLX250s and the Virago is a 250. But its a whole other machine. I couldn't bear driving it, it didn't fit me. It was slow. And no 6th gear. I was glad to get it home, just so I get off of it and drive my KLX instead.
