So I've got this Dodge torque flite 727 transmission. Tore it down to find that clutch plates are messed up. One is broke in half another is cracked and another is worn out. Was looking on rock auto and the rebuild kit is 70$ vs like 200$ that I've seen else where online. I know that people have a problem with old dryer up hydraulic parts from rock auto. It should be fine to order tho?

I've ordered quite a bit from Rock Auto before and never had a problem that wasn't my fault like accidentally ordering the wrong part or something along those lines. I don't know anybody who has had a problem with them.

never had a problem with them either other then shipping damage but that was not rockauto's fault. they did not waste time re shipping item at their expense either.

The only issue I had was when I ordered some rear wheel lug studs and I accidentally ordered the wrong diameter stud and they didn't fit. I contacted them and told them. They didn't even bother with telling me to send them back, they just sent me the right ones. I was satisfied.

I also have not had a problem with them ever. I have read a few threads on here where people have ordered a clutch kit for there ranger and the slave cylinder was all dryed up, they looked up numbers and dates and found that the part was several years old.

Just trying to prevent dropping this thing again. A tf727 with an np203 isn't exactly light.

I've never had to order any transmission stuff from them, so I can't exactly give my review on that, but before you order it, you could call and have them check to see how old the parts are before they send them to you.
