Started with some 2" 1/4 wall square tubing, and 1 3/4" 3/16 wall round tubing.. Put a slight bend to the tubing, placed it against the square tubing marked at cut straight.

Cut the 2" square tubing at 45 degrees on both ends on the band saw. 49 1/2" worked best for distance between tires for me.
Rock slider build

Cut 1/4" plate to fit inside the 2" square tubing and welded in place, and then grounded smooth.

Welded round tubing to the square tubing.

Places on jack stands, measured to frame and cut 2" square tubing for frame mounts. (Unseen)
Need to paint before attaching to frame.

All in all not to bad of a build..

could you takes some pics of the brackets, might have to make some rock sliders of my own after seeing how good yours look

Thanks guy's for the likes, I will take pics of the brackets first chance I get. Not sure if this build is tech worthy but I noticed there's a section for rock sliders with no threads or info in the tech library...

man those are sweet i may make me a set that double as a step to the doors lol gotta have your girl be able to get in the truck right?

Looks damn good bud. But here is another avenue for those of us without the access to some of the metal working tools you had. I ordered a set of the Trail Gear Rock sliders. The slider comes assembled, you just have to weld on the mounting brackets. Here are the pics of mine.

Looks decent, but I would have put at least one reinforcement tube in the middle of the slider. You rub up against a rock with those, and that 3/16 WILL crumple. Clean work though. And like everyone else says, pics of the brackets, please.

Agreed on the center support, just picked a tubing notcher, so I will be adding probably two supports.. I took 2"x2" square tubing 1/4" wall to the frame.. I welded it solid. Keep in mind that I have a 2" body lift so I was able to get to the frame easily.. I will put pics up soon.. Need to do a complete build thread...
