Think'n bout do'n a crawler but doe wana build a chassis, I'd rather BOLT than WELD... it's faster...:derisive:

Need names of manufactures, thanx.

After looking at those prices, you could easily buy a tubing bender WITH assorted dies, a big 220V welder, and about 300 ft of tubing. I know you said you don't want to have to build your own chassis, but wow.

Think how much fun you could have building your own.....

and not to mention the ability to ad to or change the chasis to your specs. not to mention the world of other things you could build with those tools

I agree, I can buy some pretty nice shop equipment with $4,500.00
AND pay for welding classes, Ima gona reconsider my wants with my needs.
Thanx fer the input.

Viable option, www.hendrixmotorsports.com for a Formula Toy chassis, just add your old Ranger frame and drivelines... I'm considering this very option, when money is available.

The standard cage is good for 103" wheelbase and longer. Just right for a standard cab short bed Ranger. Read the build threads on the Formula Toys at http://www.pirate4x4.com and hit the Formula Toyota forum... Good stuffz...
