Good morning everyone,
I hope the weekend is great. I have joined here for an unusual reason - I don't actually own a Ranger, but feel responsible to 2 different friends who do own them. Both of these guys are having trouble with their trucks and both are struggling financially.
What's funny I think is that coincidentally they are both painters. They're both very good at what they do. Jimmy is old, failing health, and still climbing 30 ft ladders (he won't listen when I try to persuade him to just supervise the stuff done at elevation, by staying on the ground). Rodolfo is younger, but his engine issues are causing him to fail inspection in his home state, so now he's driving around unregistered.
My hope is that I can collect ideas here as to how to help both of these friends. And I always enjoy the stories about unrelated topics while here. I am currently bouncing around between MD, and 2 locations in NC. Everywhere I roll in with tools, there are things broken - either our kid's homes, or our stuff, or other people who are broke and really need a budget friendly bit of help to get them back on their feet.
These are cruel times except for people who are so wealthy that the cost of food, power and services doesn't mean anything to them.
