i ordered a lock right for my 8.8 from tellico 4x4 and one side coupler gears dont match up, im postive this can be right. and also when i do get them to send me the right stuff will the lock right work with 4.56s cause you need to notch the pinion shaft or cross pin which ever it is called?

heres some pics of the unmatching lock right, just wanted to make sure im not wrong but they do not fit together.
"see how the couplers have different teeth from eachother

Yeah, they sent you a miss matched locker. When you do get the correct one, notch the ring gear slightly instead of the crosspin, it will be stronger and I found it impossible to even install the lockright without completely removing the crosspin.

What he said, when I put my locker in with 4.56, just shaved the ring gear a titch, went in easily:icon_thumby:

I like mine alot, but mine came with the right peices :D

dont notch the through pin, ive broken two of them now with a lockrite

the cross pin went in with no modification to it or the ring gear

got the axle together but not swapped into my truck yet, lol

So did the LockRite people make good and maybe you should change your topic? Or did the proper parts come from somewhere else or with a fight?

well they sent me the right peice in the mail and i had to wait a while for it to get here, and they "wanted" me to ship back the wrong peice and asked me to wright a number he gave me on the package so they knew where to restock it. ill use it as a paper weight though

That's not very nice. Send it back with the RMA number.

If you don't, they would be within their rights to charge you for it.

It is legit to ask them for a FedEx account number or whatever and charge shipping to them.

I agree with Michael, send it back, or they may feel like charging you for it

X2 send it back but charged to them

yep if they dont get it back they WILL charge u for it
