saw on a few other forums that the magazine shut down....I guess with the internet people dont buy magazines anymore

RIP RadioShack as well.

I guess with the internet people dont buy magazines anymore

I know I don't anymore, bunch of ads and usually only one or two articles that are halfway interesting...

I read RECOIL magazine but that is for another thread.

I stopped buying mags decades ago...but probably spent quite a bit when I was buying them...OMNI...Mad...countless martial arts publications...Reader's Digest...countless computer tech publications...I even bought a few skin rags but actually read most of the stories...:)

They all had something of interest...way too many ads...and way overpriced...considering you can get more now on the web...so...yeah...

I'm surprised we still have newspapers...but there is just something about holding what you are reading in your hands (not like Kindles et al) and turning the pages...

And those centerfolds...

It was more like a crack around the crack...:)

But you can get the same pic online without the inconveniently placed crease.

True, but you have to have a printer if you wanna hang them on the wall.

Ya it's unfortunate, I kinda have to laugh because my buddy has been building a '98 Ranger for years now with the dream of being on the cover of minitruckin'...there goes that plan, hopefully he doesn't give up on the build because it's going to be an awesome truck when it's done.

On the same topic of magazines dying, my girlfriend had a subscription to Rolling Stone for a while, she hasn't paid for it in over 2 years now, and ever since we've moved into our house together they now send ME a copy, so we're getting 2 copies of Rolling Stone every other week for nothing, and they usually go in the trash, such a waste.
