ring and pinion

here's my question i have a 94 ranger 2 wheel drive abs I also have an 84 bronco rear end limited slip. what i was wandering is will the ring and pinion out of the 84 fit in my housing due to the abs sensor or will i have to swap out both rear ends. If I go this route what about the abs sensor.

The ring & pinion gears can be swapped (provided your '94 also has a 7.5").
The carrier itself cannot though (well actually it can, but you won't be able to put your 94's ABS tone ring on it since it's not machined for it).

What is the ratio you're looking to put in? Might be easier to just find an axle that already has the ratio you're looking for rather than messing around with setting up used gears in another housing.

I appreciate your answer and I had not thought of the tone ring so I will take your advice and look for something that will be a direct swap again thanks for the info.

I have a 1987 Ford Ranger STX 4X4 With a Dana 28 and Ford 7.5 With 3.73 Ratio Gears My question is Can I run 4.56 gears in a 3.73 ratio And how much are 4.56 gears at http://www.precisiongear.com I called them And they said the prices are online So I checked again online And it said price Not available Any help I would appreciate
