I have a 06 2wd Ranger XLT w/5.5 Fabtech lift and PA 3" B/L.Question is this....the lift kit says it will fit a 15" wheel with 3.75 Backspacing...the wheels I want to put on it are 18x9 with 5" backspacing......will they work??

no they will not the rim and tires will rub badly if you use that much backspacing, they tell you you need a rim with max backspacing of 3.75" for a reason, the control arms and spindle will come into contact with the rim and tire you can use a bigger rim but with no more than 3.75" of backspacing

It might work to use the 5" bs ones with 1.25" spacer??

Right, because most of the big custom wheels are made with a GM-type offset. Depends on the tire size but the most backspace I've ever seen recommended for a Ranger is 4.25" on a 10" wide wheel.

if you can't find any then use a 15 or 16 inch rim with the recomended backspacing using a spacer that big on a rim that big is gunna end up breaking something unless your only mall crawling
