Rim is completly stuck to hub. CAN NOT get it off.

The gay looking thing is proably a lock to keep someone from stealing the rim. You need to remove that to get your rim off.but you ptobably know that. Buy a keg og beer anf throw a rim removal party. Someone will get it off lol

heres the problem with all of you saying drive it and this that the other thing. truck has no brakes none thats why i need the rim off in the first place to do the brakes.. do the lines.. there is this gay looking like lock it seems on there that looks like i could get an adapter and screw it off or something.. idk what it is. but rims stuck its one with the truck have tried pulling off with 2 ton bottle jck until i almost snapped the chain and cracked the rim.. beat the rim for days with a maul to no avail.. dont no what to do..thing will not will not come off.. i think this is the worst rim to ever be stuck on in the world its like trying to scrape a weld off a flat peice of metal with your finger nail.. getting nooooo where..

Get us a pic of this "gay looking thing" so we can tell you what it is, also, if all the lugs are off, turn down the brakes the whole way, maybe you can rip the drum and rim off together.

take a 22m 12 point socket or a 21mm 12 point socket and beat it on over the lock and now you will be able to take off the lock with a half inch ratchet and don't worry about the socket because the socket are alot harder and stronger than the lock nut!!!

if it does, I would suggest you look in the glovebox or under your seat where the jack was stored by the last owner.

thats the type you can put a socket right over it and take it off with no problem and you don't need a key just a socket lol!!!!

Yeah for some over the computer it may seem easy. But this rim is stuck on there like i had two ton bottle jack chained to the tire and pushing on the hub center and pulling on the rim and nothing happened. the rim was going to bend or crack. I had heat, i had a 10lb maul slamming this poor rim nothing.. I finally went behind the rim which i had before but swong this maul like hell and banged it off.. didnt pop off either just little by little.. thanks for all of your help you all.. i appreachiate i actually called a ford dealership complaining about this and how to get it off.

But really thank you all. Now i can start my next problem in a new thread.. sure glad thats over. that thing was tighter than a mosquitos a**hole in a nose dive. i do have some pictures off the hell i went threw but they will take a while to get up but if you really want to see ill post some up.

I was never trying to make fun of you dude. I broke my mentor tech's 12 lb deadblow trying to beat a rim off for him one day. They can be tough and sometimes they don't just pop. I was working on the assumption that you were banging on different sides of the rim. If you ever get another that won't come off, bang her as you spin her around, thats what I do to almost all stuck rims from the get-go.

I wanna see the pics of this thing too. Gald she finally came off for you tho.
