Just looking for some input here. I need to repaint my rims. They're off an old cop car and was wondering if I should go with black or go with red. Any ideas? I'm kinda stuck. See attached picture.

TIA

I've always been a fan of black rims with chrome lugs/center caps. They look good on anything and hide dirt and brake dust well. But you could do black with a red pinstripe like the classic American Racing wheels.

These obviously aren't american racing wheels but you get the idea...

Why not do the lower color on the truck or a dark steel color.

Paint those steelies red and get a fat whitewall tire.

I vote for green...

Do not paint the entire rim red. However, black rim with red pinstripe looks neat (see above). Dif'rnt strokes for dif'rnt folks.

That thing the tire is mounted on is a wheel, the rim is just the outer section. I vote for a light color, people here use black wheels to mount their snow tires. Those Crown Vic cruiser wheels weigh a ton, some alloy wheels or at least normal steel wheels will rotate easier and suck up less power.

Green? Nope, how about chrome.

Chrome is a color?
