Rico's chopped II

Researched and tested.. No metal on hatches .. Metal frame but everything else is Fiberglas .. Back to the drawing board.

It says on the Internet. ( wink). That ford used a metal sub frame frame and a fiberglass shell for the rear hatches to minimize the stress on the struts and lower the weight. Soooo yeah

You could cut the back inch or so of metal from the roof/ sides of the B2 and weld that to the back of the chop. Then you could run it with or without the back of the cab depending on the weather.

Interesting... Worth a look at .

Agreed. Dark brown looks better.

Ha! Yeah I've been out a few times since all the upgrades but we always seem to have no camera or a dead cell phone. I'll try to round up a camera man next time!

I also like the fact your running a 2.8L, timing gear having, solid lifter, cologne. In the famous words of Tim Allen/Home Improvement... AH AH AHAH

Looks awesome Rico! Where were you at? Looks like the west desert.

Thanks Shane. That was up at 5 mile pass. The obstacle in the last couple pictures is "Wayne's World"
