hi yall, ford ranger 4.0l (2010) throwing high voltage o2 code on sensor 1 bank 1. i replaced the o2 sensors 1.5yrs ago. not convinced its the sensor. it does fluctuate and come down in voltage, but is generally higher than bank 2. intermittedly sticking at 1.275v.
on hills, accelerating, or where i need a bit more power, the truck looses power, sometimes itll kick back in if i keep giving it gas. cat temp is normal, no visible damage. ive replaced the fuel injectors on bank 2 a couple yrs ago (new cylinder head) didnt do bank 1. also replaced the maf at the time. as well as the fuel pump and filter. (and throttle body sensor, and egr sensor)
now, watching live data, i see bank 2 is occasionally zeroing out. 0v, 0% fuel trim. some times while the other side is going high. maf is sometimes running a bit higher than i would expect but nothing insane. seems compensatory.
and to update, today while live data reading on a drive, it bogged down really bad, but the o2 sensors were reading fairly normal, maf fairly normal, not a huge load on the engine, but the bank 1 short term fuel trim froze at -28%. lasted for about 30s. i had to gear down from 4th to 2nd , give it some higher revs (2500+) to get it to kick out and be somewhat normal again.
i was starting to wonder if it was a stuck open fuel injector, vaccum or air leak, or maybe the maf. but this really confused me. could it be wiring problems, the ecu?
attaching a screenshot of that moment for context.
any insight into this?
