Not getting any responses from previous post, I wanted to be sure I worded the request correctly. The bracket, not the compressor, needs adjustment.

Does the compressor have a single solid bracket, or does the rear of the bracket move in relation to the front of the bracket. That's a good place to start.

Thanks!

Is the compressor located on the lower right side of the engine? If so, the bracket is held to the block with 4 bolts, and has adjustment bolts on the lower front and back where the compressor mounts to the bracket.:)shady

The bracket is on the passenger-side, low on the engine.

I see two slotted bolt paths in the front of the bracket, with what I assume is a pivot point bolt in the middle. Another bolt directly behind the electrical connector just holds onto the compressor. The lower bolt on the front bracket (drivers side: slotted) feels like it goes through to the rear of the bracket. the pivot bolt definitely goes through.

I was under the truck for several hours and didn't see any adjustment slots in the rear bracket. Just mounting holes for the compressor. Is an adjustment hole (rear bracket) near an end or some other identifiable reference point?

Thanks for your help. I'll try to post pictures if that'll help.

Can someone post a picture of the A/C bracket adjustments? My daughter has been in the truck continuously and I can't get a chance to look at it.:annoyed:
Thanks.
