Revs high between gears. (3500-4000rpm)

It's a 94 3.0 5 speed 4x4. I changed the iac without much luck. What do you guys think it is?

First step is to pull the codes, looks like your CEL is on in that video

not without that code. i'd put money on that being your answer right there.

Codes are 118,121.

Tps was reading 3.42 volts and the ect was reading the water temp as -40.

I guess I'll swap them out and see what happens.

Swapped in the ect from my 4.0 motor and unhooked the tps for now. Runs alot better but still wants to rev between gears. I'll have to see if I can find another tps. The one off my 4.0 didn't work.

The ect isn't reading -40, there's a sensor that's telling it that. Find your coolant temp sensor and give that a test or replace it.

Ect was short for engine coolant temp sensor. I changed it with a known good one from my 4.0 motor.

I swapped in another tps today, it's deffinantly running better but still a little rough. I'll try the usual tune up stuff.
