1987 ford ranger 2.0l rwd. its in first gear and will travel freely from first to nuetral position but never actually leaves first, i believe its a 5spd manual making it toyo koygo 5? a friend says someone pulled a reverse retainer bolt essentially dropping all gears but first, is that true/possible? if so how do i fix it? i am debating buying it for $250 in as is condition but not before im sure what will need to be done, its 2.0l rwd efi and engine runs phenomonally, and it WILL drive in first gear.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated:D
