91 Ford ranger with the updated slave cylinder has a retaining clip to hold line in I ha e tried everything but the right way apparently any ideas on how to get it in I've tried for example leaving the clip in from taking g it out and trying to push it on and everything In between

I almost ordered an updated slave cylinder because I could get it in aluminum. Then I found out it had that retaining clip for the hydraulic line and a lot of people had problems with it. I decided not to have to deal with it and ordered a LUK slave. Sorry, I don't have any suggestions on how to solve your problem other than going back to the OEM style.

I would replace everything with a pre bled setup! the most difficult part is getting the old master cylinder out, running the new master cylinder line and getting the new master cylinder in place, but it's so worth it for all the bleeding problems people have with these things!
