Just wanted to put this quick note out... I have a 98 Ranger 3.0 4X4 with 160,000 miles on the original engine. I was getting about 17-19 Mpg depending on the day and was looking to try and get better fuel mileage because I put about 1000 miles on this “old Henry” every month, so I went searching the net. I came across this testimonial on an engine additive called Restore, claiming it cleared up defects in cylinder walls and brought the engine back to near new condition with better power and full ratings. Well, I reluctantly bought some of this stuff (for the 6 cylinder engine) and poured it into my oil before heading out on a 180 mile road trip. Before adding this stuff, I was using about 14-15 gallons on the trip, but after adding it I thought my gas gauge was crapping out on me because it showed I had more fuel than I expected. I pulled into town after my trip and filled up; I only used 9.3 gallons! This stuff actually worked as advertised. Now let me put this disclaimer out now. I am NOT telling you to use this and then your truck takes a dive. However, my experience says that I will be using this stuff a lot more often. It was well worth the $9.00 I paid.
